What We Do

Sustainable Advisors Alliance is a Registered Investment Advisor that is expanding how investors define risk.

We build and manage portfolios by identifying risks that traditional investment analysis often overlooks in its process. We achieve this by identifying a client’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) values and building portfolios around those factors; the end result is competitive returns, often with less volatility. A major side benefit is that, while earning market returns, these portfolios also create positive social and environmental outcomes related to the issues that matter to investors. These companies live by the best practices for their respective industries. This process transforms financial markets into change agents that address the issues that matter most to each individual.

The numbers are in: fiduciary duty aligns with sustainability. According to the UNPRI, 68% of investors want improved Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and to integrate their values into their portfolios, BUT only 19% of investment firms plan to do so. Traditional investment firms have different stakeholders and are struggling to align these two worlds: a focus on shorter-term results often conflicts with what many investors want. Sustainable Advisors Alliance is doing this!

Our commitment to transparency and technology begins with reimagining the traditional financial planning model to deliver solutions you need, when you need them. With lower fees, no minimum portfolio size, and tools tailored to your needs, Sustainable Advisors Alliance is “democratizing” financial information. Our mission: disrupting how Wall Street operates while offering clients the opportunity to impact our world around the issues that matter to them.

What’s our biggest challenge? Showing investors how much power their investment decisions have. The learning curve can be overwhelming, and it may feel daunting to break through the “brokerspeak” and jargon that traditional investment firms use to maintain barriers.

Using our expertise, compassion, and instincts results in giving investors confidence that together we can make our world a better place while foregoing financial firms that have let us down time and time again.

Why ESG? Why now?

Do you want to align your investments with the transition to a low-carbon economy? Do you want to contribute to the development of a global economy that works for more people? If you answer yes to either, you’re a candidate for Sustainable Investing.

Sustainability issues that can impact portfolio performance: A rapidly changing climate, global water scarcity, modern-day slavery, cybersecurity, gender equality, diversity, and inclusion. These realities are dramatically reshaping the world we live in and call for investors and companies to change the way they do business to ensure success.

There are great changes happening - ask the right questions and the answers will find you.

Question of the Day: How do we make lasting changes that lead to positive financial, social, and environmental outcomes?

Answer: Aligning our investments with our values does not mean you give up investment returns.

Answer: Looking beyond the financial return creates more expansive returns.

Answer: Turning financial markets into change agents tackle the issues that matter to you.

Answer: Connecting with others doing this same work amplifies your voice and your efforts.

With the stakes so high, why are so many investors missing out on ESG?

  • It’s not because investors don’t care; it’s because the big firms don’t value ESG analysis.

  • Only 19% of investment advisors can speak “ESG”.

  • Investors aren’t sure what will make true change occur and what is really “green-washing”.

  • Confronting the status quo is not easy; change takes time and energy.

  • The ESG learning curve can be intimidating; start your journey by talking with Julie Skye at julie@sustainableadvisorsalliance.com or (918) 408-7981.

Speaking truth to power and the status quo is one of the greatest challenges of our time, but you can feel when your beliefs are aligned with your investments.
